Situated at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers,
Impalila is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld:-
host to exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation.
Situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe
and Zambezi, and four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and
Botswana. This is the only place in the world where four countries
meet. Impalila Island forms the north-eastern tip of Namibia and lies
just 70km's west of Victoria Falls. The surrounding area is an amazing
mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld:- host to exceptional
birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation - and in the waters
outstanding fishing opportunities.
Apart from luxurious accommodation, culinary delights, and a belief
that guests should be able to choose how they spend their leisure
time, a wide variety of activities are offered.
Unless otherwise specified, all activities are included in our
tariffs.
It is our policy that all activities are professionally guided, and we
have the expertise to cater for special interest visitors (eg
birding/fishing).
Facilities
Facilities include a lounge, dining area, viewing decks, swimming
pool, curio shop, small reference library.
Accommodation
8 private en suite cottages mirror the colours of Africa in lounge and
bedroom.
Each suite includes a viewing deck offering privacy, tranquility and
ultimate relaxation.
