"Caprivi Safari & Lodge Operator"

A selection of great Caprivi Lodges.

Welcome to Caprivi Strip! Green Pepper Travel cater to the travellers  looking for that perfect Lodge Safari that most people dream about!
The Caprivi is a heavily tropical area, with high temperatures and much rainfall during the December-to-March rainy season, making it the wettest region of Namibia. The Caprivi terrain is mostly made up of swamps, floodplains, wetland, and woodland.

It also is home to 450 animal species, including elephants, making Caprivi a popular game-watching spot. The wildlife is protected by several nature reserves and animals travel freely across the unmarked border with Botswana. The strip is also a prime bird-watching area, with almost 70 percent of bird species found in Namibia being recorded in the Caprivi.

In addition to the Zambezi River, the strip also holds the Cuando and Kwando River, which marks the border with Botswana.

IMPALILA ISLAND CAPRIVI LODGE

Impalila Island Lodge is a 16-bedded luxury lodge with much to offer discerning clients. Our island is situated at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi rivers at the place where 4 countries meet - from the air an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld - on the ground exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation - and in the waters outstanding fishing opportunities. Impalila is also the most secluded and remote of the Chobe destinations but close enough to offer guests the very best of the Chobe river

NTWALA ISLAND LODGE

Surrounded on all sides by seductively wild and powerful waterways, Ntwala Island Lodge is the most pristine and secluded Chobe destination. Intricate floating walkways link an untouched Namibian cluster of islands within the Mambova rapids where two mighty African rivers – the Zambezi and Chobe converge, only 80km upstream from the Victoria Falls and where white sands and palm trees add to the romance - belying the fact that this lodge is in Africa!

CHOBE SAVANNA

In the northern extremity of the Chobe National Park, along the Chobe River, is an expanse of vast floodplains and savannah called the Puku Flats. The area is renowned for its large herds of buffalo and elephant, which come to the rivers edge to drink and graze. Chobe Savanna Lodge, located on its own private concession on the Nambian side of the Chobe River, peers west out across the vast Puku flats.

CAPRIVI MOBILE SAFARI

We give you a wake-up call at sunrise with hot water for your morning ablutions, followed by a light continental breakfast. Then we then set off for an early morning game activity (a game drive in an open safari vehicle to track the nocturnal animals making their way to bed, boat trip, game walk, canoeing, etc). We like to keep the activities flexible depending on what surprises we might find in the bush. We usually return for brunch and siesta. Tea & snacks are served before we set off on the afternoon game activity.

Caprivi Overland Safaris conducted in the spirit of the early expeditions, in which a self-contained unit consisting of a fully-equipped supply truck, complete with camp staff and cook, accompanied by a safari vehicle with clients and guide, meander through the national parks and game reserves, setting up camp for several days at a time, and moving with the game and the mood .
